Michael Deckard
Michael currently holds the position of Assistant Chief - Field Operations.

Mike began his career with Cecil County in 1995. He was initially employed as a part-time paramedic and moved to full-time status in March 1996. He has served as a Lieutenant and Captain. He is also a Paramedic Instructor for Cecil College. In his current position of Assistant Chief, which he has held since 2007, he is responsible for the EMS and Haz-Mat divisions, fleet and facility development, and the department’s safety program.
