Richard currently holds the position of Director/Chief.

Richard K. Brooks, III joined the Cecil County Department of Emergency Services as Director in October 2007. He brings 36 years of Emergency Services experience to the agency. Prior to Cecil County he retired from the Baltimore County Fire Department after 25 years and worked as a defense contractor for 3 years. He currently serves as Chairman of the Maryland State Fire Prevention Commission.
