On Saturday March 14, 2009 the Haz-Mat Team welcomed Domenick Ianella from Fairfax, Virginia to our monthly training. Training began at 9am with Domenick teaching a classroom session on in-suit emergencies, followed by the team dressing out in Level A suits for a confidence course. The course included diminished clearances, drum overpack, drum dolly, ph testing, and moving a patient via a Sked Stretcher. The day concluded in the classroom reviewing the necessary on-scene preparations prior to entering the hot zone.
