During an emergency, officials will tell you what is happening using the Emergency Alert System (EAS), sirens, and/or loudspeakers, and door to door notification. if you hear a siren, turn into an EAS station. Additionally, up to date emergency information will be posted on this website.

On June 25th Cecil County response agencies participated in a full scale Homeland Security Exercise. The scenario occured at Cecil College and enlisted the help of many volunteer victims, evaluators, staff, and participants.
