Helping people and saving lives is one of the most rewarding occupation a person can have. EMS Professionals are in demand and the education from start to finish is available to Maryland residents at nearly no cost to the student!

Cecil College and the Department of Emergency Services have a partnership that supports the community’s needs for EMS personnel while providing the college accredited education that a student demands. This program will train you to be the highest level of EMS professional, Nationally Registered Paramedic. This can make you marketable across the nation as well as in the State of Maryland.

You must be affiliated with a MD ALS company, be at least 18 years of age, an EMT for one year as primary provider with a minimum of 150 calls is preferable, and completion of the entry exam with a minimum score of 75%. Entry testing begins February 1 and runs through February 14 at Cecil College Testing Center. A $20 fee must be paid prior to January 1, 2017 (sent to the address below) as well as the skills assessment from the college.
