At no other time in our nation's history has the individual and the local community played such an integral role in the safety of our nation. While first responders train to protect Americans against the newest threats, we must each accept the personal responsibility of preparing our family to endure a disaster. The Cecil County Department of Emergency Services is pleased to offer CER-T free of charge to the entire community. Through the CER-T Course, students will learn how to take steps to mitigate hazards before they occur, write an emergency plan for their home and office, and care for themselves, their family, and their neighbors before, during, and after a disaster. See the links below for additional information. Contact Amy Temple at the Department of Emergency Services for more information at (410)392-2022. |
